Of the total population, 68.4%and 31.6% lived respectively in urban and rural areas. In 2006, the population was composed of 50.8% males and
49.2%females.Its distribution by age group was: 7.75%infants, 7.81%children, 9.52%young adults, 25.15%adults, 44.57%middle_aged and 5.19%aged.
